We've got a BIG product announcement this month! 🎉 THE PROBLEM
With nearly 1,000 founders having used our platform, we started getting requests on the daily asking for service provider recommendations across functions like accounting, graphic design, development, legal, recruiting, marketing, and more. Investors looking to support their portfolio companies also began asking us for recommendations.
The reason so many people turn to us and our community is because we're a trusted name, and it can be incredibly challenging and costly to find the right partners to help grow a business. So many of us have been burned by services that weren't quite what we needed, or providers who didn't understand our journey. We place enormous value on the word of a fellow founder who has actually worked with a provider and had a positive experience.
OUR NEW FEATURE That's why I'm so excited to share that we've just rolled out a new feature designed to solve this pain point: the Vendor Marketplace, built with our commitment to transparency, trust, and genuine relationships at its core. We listened closely to your feedback and created a space where every provider has a public testimonial by someone in our community, complete with a direct-to-camera intro video that brings their experience and personality front and center. You're meeting a real person, not just a brand. It's essential to us that when you choose a service, it feels like a natural extension of the trust we've already built within Scroobious. Every member, regardless of plan, now has access to this new feature on our platform! WHY IT MATTERS
Our community-first approach means every provider here understands and respects the unique path a founder is on, whether they're just starting out or scaling their company. And for the small business owners and freelancers who provide these services, our marketplace offers a real opportunity to be found and trusted by the entrepreneurs who need them most. CHECK IT OUT!
We're in beta with this feature, and it's only the beginning! We're excited to grow this new corner of Scroobious with your feedback, so check out the marketplace, explore the founder-friendly providers, and let us know how we can keep improving!

As entrepreneurs, founders, and small business owners, we often don’t publicly advocate for political candidates. In this election cycle, however, the stakes are too high to remain silent.
My rights as a woman, mother, investor, and founder are at risk. We must use our voting power to elect political leaders who support our ability to innovate through policy, tax law, and programming. I launched Founders for Kamala two months ago with a public pledge, and since then, we've grown into a grassroots organization with incredible co-founders, co-chairs, over 100 volunteers, and nearly 900 signatories.
As business owners, we stand at a critical intersection of entrepreneurship and civic duty. Members of our coalition take substantial risks with our activism, and we carry the weight of those choices with pride and determination.
We aren't doing this for fun. We're doing this out of necessity and business and moral obligation. The stakes are incredibly high, particularly for the women, minority, and immigrant founders, whose lives and businesses could be irrevocably altered by this election's outcome.
Small businesses represent 99.9% of businesses in America and generate 70% of the recent new job opportunities. You aren't just a customer or partner; you're our ally in this fight to protect
our ability to build successful companies and to work toward a future where we all can thrive in a stable and trustworthy democracy.

Each newsletter features the perspective of one of our members. I encourage you to reach out to offer networking, investment interest, or expertise. |
This month, we highlight Onder Ondemir, President of Ubiros, and inventor of Gentle, the fully electric soft gripper. Gentle’s actuated soft grippers are designed for automation in the food and beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries, featuring certified food-grade fingers. Check out his LinkedIn for some awesome product videos!
These grippers are particularly beneficial for robotic automation integrators who are struggling to meet projected growth targets due to challenges in expanding into non-traditional industries like food and beverage. They also appeal to those who recognize the limitations of rigid grippers and pneumatic solutions. |
"Growing up in a city with deep farming roots, I've always been connected to food production. As a small child, I was inspired by technology like KITT from 'Knight Rider', and I dreamed of becoming an engineer who could turn fiction into reality.
After pursuing a PhD in Industrial Engineering, and a successful 12-year career in insurance, my passion for building transformative solutions drove me to launch Ubiros. Together with a close friend and robotics professor, we've developed a unique robotic gripper technology for the food industry, growing our startup into a thriving, post-revenue business poised for scaling." |
