Why do we keep debating EMV vs. performance? In 2024, it is so easy to add a performance component to an EMV campaign. You don't have to change the nature or goals of the campaign. But you can make sure that you are least getting 1-1.5x return in performance metrics. For every campaign. Example, run a top of funnel campaign with 10 macro-influencers. Without making this a performance focused campaign, we can make back the $100-500k in whitelisted ads, retention marketing campaigns, SEO, or affiliate via link in bio. You get all the magical upside of a top funnel campaign, with all of the direct ROI of a performance campaign. And it's even easier in the other direction (tracking EMV for performance campaigns). The point is, influencer marketers should not settle for campaigns that don't show measurable ROI.
