Watt's Up in March
In celebration of Renewable Energy Day (March 21), we wanted to remind you of what it means to be a Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) customer. As your local energy provider, we supply your clean electricity and reinvest in our communities with offers and services to help you upgrade to a healthier home AND save money!
Changes to your PG&E Bill: Beginning in March 2026, PG&E, along with all other Investor Owned Utilities in CA, is restructuring how they charge residential customers for services related to infrastructure, maintenance, energy programs, call center services, and billing. These fees were previously charged by PG&E based on volumetric energy usage and will now be a flat rate. The monthly Base Service Charge is $6 for customers enrolled in CARE, $12 for customers enrolled in FERA, and $24 for all other customers, with slight variances month-to-month based on total days per billing period.
