A recent Axios poll shows a slim majority of Americans, including a stunning 42% of Democrats, now support mass deportations of illegal immigrants, citing concerns about increased crime, additional costs to taxpayers, and national security. Turns out when you shut your border to talented, freedom-loving legal immigrants while waiving the law for 10 million low-skilled border hoppers from the third world, there are major cultural consequences, and actual tax-paying citizens begin to seek decisive action. Now, for any politician with his ear to the ground, immigration presents considerable opportunity. Of course, given the rise of Ocasio’s left, the odds of a Democrat taking on the “extreme” Obama-era approach of sending lawbreakers back to their country is unthinkable. But if a Republican picks up the very popular issue of “simply enforcing the law,” this next election will be a landslide.

A survey of 18- to 29-year-old voters revealed RFK Jr. is doing well among young people. Unsurprisingly, about a quarter of those polled are “double haters” tired of both Trump and Biden, and among that group, RFK Jr. wins 27% of the vote, ahead of Biden (18%) and Trump (10%). Most of these voters are probably just sick of Trump vs. Biden II, a boring remake with little upside for the country. But I wonder, how many are disaffected young males attracted to Bobby Jr.’s 4chan persona, evident in each of his positions from government surveillance to vaccines? If Trump is a reality TV show, RFK Jr. is a YouTube video with 846 views explaining how the Incan Empire did in fact have nuclear power plants. And if we're being honest, that has its own je ne sais quoi.

Disgraced former NBC “disinformation reporter” Ben Collins announced he’ll be the new CEO of the Onion, where he’ll “share the wealth with staff” and “let them do whatever they want.” This comes after former Twilio CEO Jeff Lawson, of anti-racist layoff infamy (presumably, firing whites first), bought the property. I’m certainly skeptical an even more Marxist, “anti-racist” Onion will be capable of humor, let alone pulling out of a decade-long death spiral. But if anyone can save this once-funny media company, it’s Ben. Sure, “disinformation reporters” are the most tedious people alive, but the entire concept of a “disinformation reporter” is innately clownish. Then, Ben is the best there is at ultra-sharable fake news headlines on top of articles with no substance that make you go “wtf is this lol,” which is exactly what the Onion needs. I’m happy for you Ben, you’ve got this!
