💥 Hype Song That’ll Make You Run Through a Wall |
|
|
| “Boom” by P.O.D. Listen on Spotify Listen on Apple
Ok HEAR ME OUT. This song may have had its heyday on early 2000s TRL and, sure, MAYBE there are those who consider P.O.D. to be “cheesy” now. But you can’t argue with results—whenever this song comes up on my workout playlist, I run much faster. This is a data-backed hype song rec. |

⚡️ Fastest Follow-up in SaaS: Sprout Social’s
“Call Me Now” Button
When a lead fills out your demo form, what do you think they do next?
Do they sit at their desk patiently waiting for you to reach out?
Hell no. They’re going to each of your competitors' websites, and learning about their solution too.
They’ve put together their lists of options compiled from research and word of mouth.
For every minute you’re not speaking with a handraiser, that’s another minute they’re shopping around.
And I mean literally SPEAKING. Not emailing—picking up the phone and removing all doubt for them.
(Yes, handraisers still want to talk on the phone, even in 2025.)
So I ran a simple experiment: How fast would 25 B2B SaaS companies call me after I requested a demo?
Most companies sent automated emails with some version of:
“Thanks for submitting your demo request! Someone will be in touch shortly.”
But Sprout Social did something no one else did.
When I submitted the demo request, I was given this prompt:
|
|
|
I clicked "Call me now."
Seconds later—my phone rang. It was a HUMAN MAN.
Sprout Social isn’t messing around. When you ask to be called now, they call you NOW.
They also give leads the option to schedule a meeting. Of course, there are pros and cons to letting leads schedule a meeting later rather than just calling ASAP.
In our experiment, eight other companies allowed you to schedule your own meeting while submitting your demo form, but most of them didn’t have immediate availability. Some had you waiting hours—or even days—for the next available slot. |
|
|
Giving handraisers the flexibility to either schedule a meeting later or get an instant phone call from a rep—who already has all their info—puts Sprout Social at a huge advantage over their competitors.
They didn’t even give me A CHANCE to open up a new tab and visit the next website on my list.
As for the rest of the companies in our experiment, I was surprised at how many didn’t bother calling at all, opting only for email follow-ups. |
Everyone talks about speed-to-lead, but the real advantage is speed-to-speak… or speed-to-talk? We’ll work out the name later—either way, fast human contact is your competitive edge.
Stop overcomplicating sales. You already know your inbound leads want to talk to you! Just pick up the damn phone.
