Support for Conference Proceedings and Meeting Abstracts |
Managing conference proceedings and meeting abstracts poses a unique challenge within the industry, primarily due to the singular DOI often associated with conferences. This singular identifier complicates metadata management, hindering your ability to leverage powerful features such as 'Update Details' for existing references or 'Resolve Metadata' during import.
|
We're pleased to announce we’ve addressed this challenge, allowing you to fully utilize these essential features. When updating references in your library or list using 'Update Details,' any items categorized as 'Conference Paper' will be bypassed, ensuring that critical conference information remains intact. This streamlined process enables you to swiftly update metadata for standard journal articles without overriding vital conference details. Additionally, for those importing references via CSV files, you can now exclude specific references from the 'Resolve Metadata' function by setting the content type to 'conference_paper.' *Please note that this functionality cannot be combined with the 'Merge Duplicates' feature at this time.

Are you familiar with the frustration of working on a lengthy document filled with numerous references, only to realize you need to re-cite a reference you've already included? The good news is, your solution is here! With our latest feature, effortlessly cite references already present in your document using the handy ‘List of active references’.

Document Delivery Improvements |
With our continued focus on improving our document delivery service, we're excited to introduce a significant improvement. Now, when you purchase content, it will automatically be stored in the personal or shared library it was requested from, in addition to your organization's designated central library (if applicable).
In addition, to ensure transparency and promptness, we've implemented a new notification. If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfill a document delivery request within 24 hours, you will receive an email notification. Should the fulfillment process extend beyond this timeframe, rest assured that we will keep you updated on a weekly basis until completion. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are our top priorities! |
Streamlined Process for POs |
For organizations that require a purchase order (PO), we're excited to announce a streamlined process within the Admin Dashboard. Now, you can upload your PO directly, simplifying the process of adding more seats or replenishing your document delivery deposit account.
By uploading your PO through the Admin Dashboard, you'll enjoy the added convenience of automatically advancing 50% of the document delivery deposit or immediately adding the additional seats you need. Say goodbye to unnecessary delays and hello to seamless efficiency. |
