Hello Oleksandr,
In the coming months we’ll be adding more admin features to increase your control over your workspace and make it easier for everyone at your company to use Notion.
Here are two of the first updates we’ll be rolling out:
Membership admin
Lots of admins tell us they add more admins to help manage members, but these admins don’t need access to things like security settings. So we’re introducing a Membership admin role that can add/remove users from the workspace and groups.
  • Admins with this status can only add and remove people to the workspace and groups; they can’t change security and billing settings or delete the workspace.
  • As part of this change, all existing admins will be renamed Workspace owners, but their existing permissions won’t change. We suggest you review your admin roster to decide whether any workspace owners should become membership admins. Read more here.
Customize permissions for workspace creation Workspace owners now can choose to prevent users with your verified domain from creating new workspaces. Read more here.
Coming soon, workspace owners will be able to:
Reassign private content from users who are removed from the workspace
Bulk export all workspace content, including private pages
See more workspace activity, including private page titles, in the Audit log
This is just the beginning of the improvements that we’re making to the admin experience and controls as we grow and develop Notion’s enterprise plans.
Thank you,
Monica Perez
