Learn more about how and why our DoSomething members are participating in our Strength Through Service program! “My mom always taught me to give! A small gesture can make a big difference to someone else. You never know what others are going through and how giving back can impact their lives,” said DoSomething member David R., 18. “It's important to me because homelessness and poverty have always been prevalent in the community, however, during the start and continuation of the pandemic, these issues were worsened and there were many people that were affected by the pandemic. Being able to help in whatever way I can assures me that someone cares about these people and is taking steps to help them,” said DoSomething member Temilade O.,17. “It is also a source of comfort and joy to the people we are helping.” “This campaign is important to me because I want to do everything I can to keep our Earth safe. Recycling prevents how much is in our landfill and can make a big impact on the goodness of our world,” said DoSomething member Anna C., 16.
