Bondfire

Bondfire is a real-time interactive platform for isolated college students that builds meaningful connections through the power of storytelling. We aim to transform the way modern conversations are held through the inspiration of in-person, personal campfire experiences, which positions this concept as highly differentiated and viable (compared to all current social media and communication platforms).

To summarize, Bondfire incorporates the following privacy functionalities into the solution through various privacy frameworks:

Visual privacy policy to make the features salient and simple for users to understand and consent to at the outset
Multi-level authentication to funnel through a network of verified and trustworthy users to the platform
End-to-end encryption of data to ensure that what is said at the campfire, stays at the campfire
Machine learning algorithm (through Natural Language Processing) to filter out profanity and negative behaviour in Campsites
Privacy reminders at every touchpoint to reassure users that we really care about the safety of the campfire environment; removal of any dark patterns

From a user experience perspective, Bondfire draws further parallels to the real-life campsite concept by integrating categories, story prompts, interactive elements (e.g. smores), and options to add more firewood to keep the deep talks going!
