More Amazing Impact From the DoSomething Community!
We asked you to brag about the amazing stuff you’re doing, and you did not disappoint. Here are some of our favorite answers from the DoSomething community. (Psst...submit yours here!)
“I donated food and collected food for a food drive that fed over 300 individuals and about 60 families.”
- DoSomething member Sophie, 14, California
“Recently, a major gas station chain called Buc-ee's submitted a rezoning request in Orange County, NC. They wanted to build a massive, 120-pump gas station on top of a fragile ecosystem. Along with hundreds of others (namely a group called A Voice for Efland and Orange), I attended two Orange County Board of County Commissioners meetings to express my concern. Buc-ee's withdrew the request!”
- DoSomething member Avery, 18, North Carolina
“Recently, I started an initiative for elderly people in my community. I created an Instagram page to start with. On Sunday I and my team reached out to a local church where we could find elderly people, and it was awesome!. I can't wait to assist more elderly (in the little way I can) in my community.”
- DoSomething member Adeola, 26, Nigeria
